KUCHING: The Rotaract Club of Swinburne Sarawak raised RM11,033 from the Swinburne Satellite Shave For Go Bald 2016.
Twelve club members had a shave together with three young cancer patients currently staying at the Sarawak Children’s
Cancer Society (SCCS) centre while they undergo treatment and a mother.
The Rotaract Club of Swinburne Sarawak won the Best Community Project in 2013 for District 3310, which they represent.
The club also received the Presidential Citation from Rotary International in 2013.
Go Bald Satellite Shave are available to groups of more than 20.
Over 50 organisations and companies in Sarawak have hosted satellite shaves over the years.
Go Bald 2016 will begin on May 15 at CityOne Megamall here and at Permaisuri Imperial City Mall, Miri.
On May 22, the campaign will be at Delta Mall, Sibu.
