MIRI: Miri Division Technical Nursing Unit has been entrusted to host a national level Technical Nursing Meeting this August.

Around 35 to 40 nurse supervisors from throughout the country are expected to attend the meeting to be held on Aug 3-5.

To this effect, the Miri unit made a courtesy call on Assistant Minister of Land and Air Transportation and Safety Lee Kim Shin to brief him as VIP guest on the upcoming meeting.

It was learnt that the agenda of the meeting would include issues and matters pertaining on services to meet public expectation and to be in tandem with changes brought by information communication technology (ICT).

Lee, in accepting the invitation as guest-of-honour to officiate at the meeting, hoped it would be a platform to resolve issues concerning nursing services while also fostering ties among nurses and the public.

He also hoped the meeting is able to improve the quality of nursing services.

The participants are also expected to visit places of interest here and neighbouring Brunei after the meeting.
