KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem and wife Datin Patinggi Dato Jamilah Anu joined police personnel in the breaking of fast on Tuesday.

The event was held at the Al-Mujahidin Mosque in the Tabuan Jaya Police Housing Complex.

Among those present were state Police Commissioner Datuk Mazlan Mansor and wife Datin Farihah Zamri, state Deputy Police Commissioner Dato Abdul Aziz Yusof and wife Datin Wan Masiah Wan Ismail, Datuk Bandar of Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai and heads of state and federal departments.

After the breaking of fast, the chief minister presented contributions to 27 orphans in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Later, he announced a grant of RM50,000 for the Police Family Association (Perkep).
