Adenan to discuss state matters, devolution of power with Najib

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem will be meeting with the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak tomorrow (July 4) to discuss matters on the devolution of power, the Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) Reports and Recommendations, the Malaysia Agreement 1963, the Malaysia Act and the Cobbold Commission Report.

The Chief Minister will submit two memorandums to the Prime Minister on the state government’s position on the matter during the meeting, which will be held in Putrajaya, according to a press statement from the Chief Minister’s Office this morning (July 3).

The Chief Minister recently touched at length on the matter at the last Dewan Undangan Negeri sitting.
