MIRI: Tenby International School Miri is proud to have produced another batch of graduates who have set fine examples for their fellow students to emulate.

They are also the school’s pride for they have created good image for the school as the platform of education, motivation and inspiration for other students.

“We are proud of these graduates and talents who have been successful in their studies. Our roles and responsibilites as educators, families and friends are to support and nurture them and provide the structure for them to flourish while findng a balance between control and freedom,” said its head of secondary school Jeanne Denyer yesterday.

Sixteen Year 11 students from Tenby International School Miri received their certificates during the ‘Graduation Day’ recently.

At the same function, a new team of student leaders were also presented a tie each.

Meanwhile, Denyer said that mistakes could be made along the way, and that it was part of the rich tapestry of experiences that helped to mould the young people into who they would be in future. She said several students had progressed to new learning institutions while the lead students received scholarships to prestigious colleges in Europe.

Tenby International School is the only school in Miri offering British curriculum to pupils from kindergarten, primary to secondary classes. The school is staffed by highly qualified locals and also expatriate staff.
