KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian international sensation Yuna will be performing on the evening of August 26 at Hakka Association Hall, here to hype up the crowd leading to the actual event.

This special and exclusive event is catered to all registered Borneon Run 2016 runners.

Supported by more than 40 organizations, the second edition of this electrifying night run – Borneon Run 2016 is happening at the Likas Stadium on November 5.

After a much successful inaugural run in 2015, Borneon Run has turned out to be one of the biggest and most happening events in Sabah.

The Sabah-based event organizer Think Workshop has decided to give its registered runners a surprise by throwing this pre-party, and supported by Astro Radio.

Accompanying the Los Angeles-based songbird Yuna, the pre-party also features exciting opening acts by other Sabahan local performers.

Borneon Run returns this year with a whole new theme and exciting concepts.

‘Think Workshop’ aspires to differentiate Borneon Run from the other run events, making this an iconic event of Sabah.

This is the main reason that it is named Borneon Run. This event will also be a redefined lifestyle event, with a full-fledged concert featuring international celebrity artistes.

Participants will get to enjoy a whole new level of exciting night run experience and a party type concert at an affordable price.

International Artistes performing at the after party concert are such as Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, DJ Soda and Hello Venus.

With this artist line-up, it will easily cost RM200 or more in Kuala Lumpur.

The organizer wishes to encourage healthy lifestyle event participation by local Sabahans, apart from attracting travellers to Sabah.

There are two categories of Run: 7KM Fun run for all walking and running abilities and introducing a new run category – 12KM Route.

‘Think Workshop’ is working closely with and has full support from Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK), Sabah Tourism Board, and Sabah Sports Board to create a whole new sporty lifestyle experience.
