KOTA SAMARAHAN: Two body beautifuls – Shahrul Sariee and Zamir Sani – emerged from 16 musclemen as this year’s Mr Bikers Fitness Samarahan, which was among the highlights of the three-day Samarahan Bike Fest (SBF) 2016 which ended yesterday.
The competition of toned torsos at Aiman Mall in Taman Desa Ilmu here was divided into two height categories – the Under-170cm which was won Zamir Sani; and the Above-170cm won by Mohd Shahrul Sariee. Each took home a RM500 smile.
Placing second and third in the Under-170cm category were Md Rizal Zakaria (winning RM300) and Mohamad Zarudin Kawi (RM200) while the Above-170cm category runners-up were Abdul Ramzi Bujang (RM300) and Amran Abdullah (RM200).
The other finalists of both categories – Nicholas Nohek, Mohd Ilyas Arieza Roslan, Larry Imam Saliman and Sabakthani Janala Jaminal – each pocketed RM100. All top five finalists also received certificates of recognition.
The men’s physique challenge was organised by Tegar Bikers Motor Club Sarawak, in collaboration with Iron Hardcore Gym Kota Samarahan, AZ Beauty Secret and Sarawak Bodybuilding Association (SBBA).
SBBA honorary secretary Andy Ismail and Iron Hardcore Gym head Mohd Zulkarnain presented the prizes.
The Samarahan Bike Fest 2016 entered its fifth edition this year, gathering superbike enthusiasts from across Sarawak, Sabah, Labuan, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei and Indonesia.
Themed ‘Riding for Freedom and Knowledge’, participants from over 40 big bike clubs not only converged here to share skills and knowledge but also to engage with local communities and to get involved in charity work.
