KUCHING: The Kuching City North Commission (DBKU) has allocated several locations along Jalan Gambier and the Esplanade here for the setting up of stalls from Nov 11-13 and Nov 18-20 in conjunction with the Sarawak Regatta.
DBKU in a press release yesterday said a total of 265 spaces have been allocated for four categories of items; textile, assessories, children’s toys and others; food and drinks; light food in packets and fruits.
The permit for the six days is at RM120 per 10X10ft space.
Stall vendors are urged to bring their own tables and canopies measuring 10ft X10ft to ensure uniformity and ease of arrangements.
Interested stall vendors are urged to go to the ticket counter at Stadium Perpaduan on Nov 8 to purchase their space starting 8.30am.
All spaces are on first-come-first-served basis. They are reminded to bring one photocopy of their MyKad, two passport-size photos and payment of RM120 in cash.
After that, the registered vendors need to draw lots for their allotted spaces at the same venue.
All stall vendors are reminded to keep their spaces clean, make sure the food and drinks sold are safe for consumption, and comply with the rules and regulations set by DBKU.
