KUCHING: CIMB Group treated the local media fraternity to an exotic ‘One Night in the Rainforest’ Media Appreciation Night recently.
About 200 media practitioners from both print and electronic media agencies turned up.
CIMB Group’s chief executive officer (CEO) Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz said the annual occasion was to show appreciation to the media fraternity for their continued support and assistance throughout the years.
“This is the best platform to reach out to you (media) and foster a better relationship between CIMB and the media,” he said during the ceremony held at Pullman Hotel.
Guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet dinner with a wide selection of local, western and fusion cuisine, salad and delectable desserts.
A Best Dressed competition was held with categories for men and women.
The highlight of the night was the lucky draw with the grand prize of a 42-inch TV.
