KUCHING: Volunteers from Great Advisor Group joined Hope Place in reaching out to the less fortunate in society in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.

The group helped to deliver food and essential items to 10 needy families around Kuching recently.

In addition, they contributed essential items and food worth more than RM8,588 to Hope Place.

Among the items were biscuits, noodles, Milo, oat, cakes, canned food, toiletries, soft drinks, fried chicken and clothing.

Currently, Hope place is still short of Ensure milk, Enercal milk, size L and XXL children pampers and Vanila-flavoured Sustagen 6+ for the elderly and people with special needs.

Hope Place is an NGO that visits the poor and less fortunate families to contribute essential food items like rice, cooking oil, sugar, salt, biscuits and noodles.

Most of these families or individuals barely earn enough to get through the month, hence many are grateful for the assistance of these basic necessities delivered to them.

Hope Place carries out aid deliveries once every two months because of the many families on their recipient list.

Currently, they are supporting more than 150 families.

For more information on how to help, Hope Place can be reached at 013-5672775 or 082-683378 from 8.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm Mondays to Fridays only.

Donors can also bank-in directly to Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching’s Maybank account 5112-8900-1160.
