Dilapidated house collapses, no report of injuries

MARUDI: A dilapidated wooden house at Kampung Padang Kerbau here collapsed yesterday afternoon.

No injuries were reported in the 1.40pm incident as the affected structure had long been abandoned by its owner.

Personnel from the local Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) were dispatched to the village after being notified of the incident.

A Bomba spokesperson said its personnel advised villagers to make sure their children stay away from the affected area.
