A fireman dousing the flames to ensure it is completely extinguished.
BINTULU: A trailer lorry caught fire at Selangau-Tatau Road about 51 km from here yesterday.
Eight firemen from Tatau Fire and Rescue Department rushed to the scene after receiving a call at 12.35pm.
They arrived at the scene at 1.27pm by which time the fire had destroyed the front side of the lorry parked by the roadside.
No injury was reported in the incident.
It is understood that the lorry was travelling from Sibu to Bintulu. The firemen managed to stop the fire from spreading to other parts within 10 minutes.
