SIBU: A host of fun-packed activities has been drawn up in conjunction with the staging of the inaugural ‘Sibu Street Art Festival’ at Chuan Corridor, Sibu Town Square from June 9-17.

Festival chairperson Wong Hie Ping said the festival is being organised by Sibu Municipal Council of which she is a councillor.

Among the activities are Street Art Gallery and Murals Photo Booth available anytime of the day, Creative Bazaar and Kids Fun Park open from 11am-9.30pm, Vintage Mini Theatre (7pm-9.30pm), Street Life Busking, colouring contest and a mural drawing contest (5pm to 8.30pm on June 17).

“The ‘Sibu Street Art Festival 2017’ is held in conjunction with Visit Sibu Year (VSY) 2017,” Wong said yesterday when accompanying the council’s deputy chairperson Rogayah Jamain in checking on the progress of preparations for the festival.
