KUCHING: All Sarawak state civil servants including those in statutory bodies and local councils will receive a special monetary aid of RM500 each in conjunction with the coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Morshidi Abdul Ghani in a statement today said the disbursement of the special monetary aid will be made on June 15.
The amount announced by the state government is similar to the RM500 financial assistance already paid out by the federal government to federal civil servants ahead of the Hari Raya celebrations.
