Students at TKIS have received at least one university offer for the past 27 years.
KUCHING: Representatives from The Kilmore International School (TKIS) in Victoria, Australia will be present to speak to prospective students and their parents at Market Management Services Sdn Bhd (MMS) office in Taman Sri Sarawak Mall here on July 6 from 11am until 1pm.
TKIS is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational boarding and day school for academically motivated students undertaking their education from Year 7 to Year 12.
The school is dedicated in delivering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme where IB is recognised by leading universities throughout the world and aims to develop the intellectual, personal and social skills that students need to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalised world.
In Years 7 to 10, all students follow a broad, compulsory programme of study which is designed to fully prepare them to undertake the IB Diploma Programme in Years 11 and 12. All TKIS students are required to undertake the full IB Diploma Programme in Years 11 and 12.
TKIS provides intensive after-school tutorials to support students in all subjects across all year levels. Students are able to choose from a wide range of activities that help them to develop soft skills such as leadership, communication, organisation and teamwork.
For the past 27 years, 100 per cent of TKIS’ graduates have received at least one university offer while last year’s class of 2016 achieved outstanding results in the IB Diploma final exam.
