KUCHING: Lakehead University regional manager Adrian Ting will meet with students and parents tomorrow at Market Management Services Sdn Bhd  (MMS) from 11am to 3pm.

A press release said the public research university – with campuses at Thunder Bay and Orillia in Ontario, Canada – offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programmes within 10 faculties.

Both campuses promise a true Canadian university experience – blending academic excellence and opportunities for social and recreational activities.

Lakehead is host to nine Canada Research Chairs and revolutionary facilities such as the world-renowned Paleo-DNA Laboratory and Biorefining Research Institute.

Maclean’s 2016 University Rankings placed Lakehead University second in Ontario and among Canada’s Top 10 undergraduate universities, and first among Ontario’s undergraduate universities for Total Research Dollars, Social Sciences and Humanities Grants, and Library Expenses.

In 2015, Research Infosource ranked Lakehead first among Canada’s undergraduate universities.

The university’s Engineering and Environmental Faculty has a 100 per cent employment rate; all Engineering degrees come with Co-op Education (paid internships) of up to 14 months; three-year work permits are available; express entry for Canadian permanent residency; while the tuition fees and living costs are around CA$35,000 (RM120,334) annually.
