KUCHING: South Korean pop groups Rion Five, Matilda and A to Z had their first fan meet-and-greet at several destinations around the city yesterday.

A  group of excited fans showed up at Kuching International Airport (KIA) to give the K-Pop groups a warm welcome as they arrived early in the morning.

They will be performing at the K-Pop Concert scheduled at Eastern Mall today starting 7.30pm.

Yesterday, the idol groups kickstarted their meet-and-greet as well as autograph-signing sessions at Pullman followed by VivaCity Megamall, Boulevard Shopping Mall and CityOne Megamall before wrapping up at Cafe Cafe at Rubber Road. Fans cheered and shouted loudly as the idol groups appeared on stage separately, responding with bows, waves and smiles.

Some of the devoted fans also got the chance to approach the signing table to get signatures from each of the members and some even took wefies with them.

Energetic boy group Rion Five is made up of members Royun, Minjae, Taewoo, Junghyun, Yousung and Kangsan. They debuted in Spring 2014 under Narda Entertainment.

Bubbly quartet girl group Matilda is made up of Haena, Dana, Semmi and Saebyeol. They debuted on March 18, 2016 with the single ‘Macarena’.

The talented performance group A to Z consisted of three members: Jihoon, Youngjin and Hyun Jae. They are accompanied by a DJ Choi Yong Hun.

K-Pop fans have been urged not to miss this rare opportunity to catch a glimpse of these talented bands that promise to deliver an intensely exciting concert.
