KUCHING: Team PDRM dominated the Criterium DBKU Race 1.0 open category held at Jalan Stadium here on Sunday.
First to the finish line was Mohd Affy Qhairant Arron in a time of 1hr 15min 24sec followed by Amirul Anuar Jafari and Muhamad Fauzan Ahmad Lutfi.
In the All Stars category, Zainal Ariffin Mohd took 16min 36sec to finish ahead of Marija Singh and Kamaruz Zaman.
The boys race was won by Geri Maulana Sapura who pipped Bernard Van in identical times of 1hr 05min 44sec while Sanim Fitri Abdul Halim was third.
Mohamad Hatta was the veteran winner with a time of 43min 27sec followed by Patrick Siqueen and Syachruddin Effendi.
The Sarawak Closed category saw Jackson Kho coming first with Hamif Kamaluddin second and Muhd Faiz Matjelan third.
The first three in the MTB race were Muhd Fauzan Mat Lutfi, Laurel Lauridsan and Amir Mustapa Rusli.
A total of about 90 cyclists competed in the event which was flagged of by Kuching City North Commission (DBKU) director Jumaini Haili.
