KUCHING: Toastmasters Clubs from Division D will hold its division contest at SEB Auditorium, Menara Sarawak Energy at Jalan Isthmus tomorrow.
All members of the public are welcome to come and witness the division-level Humorous and Evaluation Contest.
According to Division D director Thomas Teng, the objectives of this contest are to provide an opportunity for speakers to improve their speaking ability and recognise the best as encouragement to all; provide an opportunity to learn by observing the more proficient speakers who have benefited from their Toastmasters’ training; and recognise the value of humour in speaking.
The champion of the humorous speech and evaluation contest will represent Division D at district-level in the coming District 87 Semi-Annual Conference to be held in RH Hotel, Sibu on Oct 28.
