MIRI: The public here are invited to take part in Miri Beach Run 2017 which will be held at the Beach Republic in Luak here starting 6.15am on Nov 19.
The event organised by Beach Republic with technical support from Bulatan Park Runners Club is open to local and international participants.
Proceeds will be channelled to PDK Morsjaya and Miri Methodist Children’s Home.
According to the spokesperson for the organiser, the event will have nine categories: Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Veteran, Women’s Veteran, Junior Boy and Junior Girl (10km) as well as Family Kid Boy, Family Kid Girl and Fun Run (4km).
Registration for the event is now open and those interested can register at Beach Republic or Share Tea in Boulevard Commercial Centre, or register online at http://bulatanparkrunnersclub.com/miribr/.
The registration fee for the 10km individual events as well as 4km Fun Run is RM55 per participant for early birds registering before Oct 8, while registration after Oct 8 will cost RM65 per participant.
For the Family Kid Boy and Family Kid Girl categories, the fee per family is RM110 for early birds and RM135 for those registering after Oct 8.
Closing date for registration is Oct 15.
