KAPIT: A total of 12 ex-servicemen here received special cash assistance from the Department of Veterans Affairs recently.
All of them are members of the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association Kapit.
They were selected for the one-off payment based on their age and health condition.
Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association state chairman Roland Demong Radin presented the aid.
The recipients were Jua Langkau, Jalin Maraggan, Ladong Sabut, Siang Gada, Lumpoh Berandah, Luat Linsong, John Rima, Nyawai Nyabong, Riba Medang, Mohamed Kamel Nudin, Mohd Tahir Johor, and Bajek Jaong.
