KOTA SAMARAHAN: The ‘High Profile Policing’ programme organised by Kota Samarahan District police headquarters, Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department at Farley Supermarket compound here was well received by the public.
District police chief DSP Lee Chong Chern, accompanied by several senior officers from the district headquarters, attended the programme from 4pm to 8.30pm on Oct 11.
In included an exhibition of pictures of firearms used by various units in the force as well as registration for Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP) and special female police officers’ unit (Amanita).
The programme received overwhelming response from the public who were entertained by police personnel putting up a performance.
Visitors got along with officers from district headquarters and had a chance to win lucky draw prizes.
