Passengers of MH3475 disembark upon arrival at Miri Airport, following the discovery of the unconscious passenger.
MIRI: A passenger on a flight from Limbang passed away yesterday after he was initially found unconscious in his seat upon arrival at Miri Airport.
The passenger, who is an amputee, succumbed around 4pm at Miri Hospital while undergoing treatment.
His death was confirmed by police, who did not disclose the identity of the deceased.
Meanwhile, Rozanah Robert of MASwings Communication Department in Kota Kinabalu, confirmed the initial incident when contacted yesterday.
She said crew members found the passenger unconscious upon arrival of flight MH3475 at the airport around 2.10pm.
“The crew immediately informed the ground authority of the incident, who then alerted paramedics from Miri Hospital,” she said.
According to Rozanah, the passenger is a frequent MASwings flier.
