Policeman suffers fatal heart attack while driving

MIRI: A policeman died after he suffered a heart attack while driving near the Pelita Commercial Centre here today.

In the 10am incident, 54-year-old Corporal Martin Peter Nyiron was driving the car with his family when he was believed to have had a heart attack before ramming into a parked car.

Paramedics from Miri Hospital rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call from the public.

The corporal was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was later handed over to the police for further investigation.
