Swinburne student council to hold Empowering Sharing Session

KUCHING: The Swinburne Sarawak Student Council will hold the second Empowering Sharing Session today from 9.30am to 3pm at the university’s lecture theatre.

Open to all, the session aims to expose students to the qualities or skills needed to become a good and efficient leader.

The speakers will be YouthsToday.com CEO and founder Jazz Tan Yee Mei; Magic Malaysia senior programme executive Arif A Rahman; and, X-Fab Sarawak human resources director Maureen Labarge.

Tan, previously listed in Forbes 30 under 30 for 2017, will touch on the topic ‘How I Built a Million Dollar Valuation Company by 25 Years Old’.

Arif will speak on ‘Social Entrepreneurship: Be A Changemaker’, while Labarge will elaborate on the topic ‘Maximising Your Marketability’.
