“Shuttlers and badminton enthusiasts would benefit greatly in this sport complex, as each badminton court is covered with 6-mm thick rubberised court mats, and they are mopped and cleaned daily,” its manager Brian Lee said while giving the media a tour of the facility.

The complex also works in direct partnership with local badminton coaches to train young shuttlers.

As the year end school holiday approaches, it is organising a camp specially for pupils from primary four to six with a coach to train them. Apart from badminton, the pupils will also learn sports values like team building, Lee added.
