KUCHING: Bluedale Media (M) Sdn Bhd in partnership with New York-based tech company M-ND has brought the one-of-its-kind B-Vice digital billboard to Malaysia.

In a press release, Bluedale Media senior business manager Annie Goh explained B-Vice as a combination of old and new media to create captivating marketing experiences.

“We are taking digital marketing in this region to a new phase by bringing in an advertising platform we can interact with, collect, process and utilise real-time data with. The ability to be synced with social media adds a little fun as well,” she said.

“B-Vice is also an innovative tool that can be used by marketers to collect valuable real-time data as well. Data is the key element that marketers and advertisers use to create content that is shareable – the main goal of advertisers and marketers these days.”

Goh said B-Vice’s remote campaign management system eliminates the need for traditional on-ground activation practices such as having people on-site to gather data.

M-ND states on its website that the software and collection of interactive touch screens activate, capture, and measure real-world consumer engagement and influence.

By collecting real-time data, marketers can change their campaigns to adapt to the data collected on the spot.

B-Vice is able to sync with social media just by using a hashtag or geotag, so a picture on Instagram with a specific hashtag will appear on B-Vice’s display and can be printed for free.

“Remember the first concert you went to? Or your very first date? Chances are that you have a drawer filled with memorabilia to remind you of those treasured memories and with everything going digital, we are just not filling that drawer up. Until now,” said Goh.

B-Vice’s customisable layout can portray a brand’s specific look with vital call-to-action functions specific to the brand’s marketing needs.

“Everyone wants to be on top and to create engagements that are out of the ordinary and with B-Vice, these brands that are searching for that spark of innovation in their campaign can finally look no further,” said Goh.

An additional feature is the Golden Ticket, which can be programmed to be randomly generated or set to specific parameters, making B-Vice the perfect platform to run contests.

“This device has the capabilities of bringing brands in Malaysia to new heights and innovating the current marketing and advertising arena in Southeast Asia, especially in Malaysia,” added Goh.
