Woman finds python on windowpane

APM personnel show the five foot long python caught at a house in Tun Ahmad Zaidi Road in Sibu.

SIBU: A five-foot-long python weighing about 500 grammes was caught by the Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel at house in Tun Ahmad Zaidi Road here early this morning.

APM Sibu division in a the report, stated that they received a distress call from the house owner at around 7.30am.

A three-member team was immediately despatched at 7.32am and arrived at the house at 7.53am.

According to the APM report, the complainant saw the snake on the windowpane when she was about to enter the toilet.

“It is believed that the snake might have entered through the drain at the back of the house. The house is situated far from the secondary jungle. The slithery reptile was caught using a ‘snake tounque’,” APM stated.
