KUCHING: An ICT and information literacy skill programme will be held at the Bunan Gega Village Library from 9am to 4pm on Dec 9 and Dec 10.
In a press statement from the Sarawak State Library, the programme is held in conjunction with their ‘Juh Neroka Ilmu’ programme.
Among the various interesting activities planned are‘My Favourite Read’ session, children activities, ‘Do-It-Yourself’ and ‘3D Printing’ session.
This programme aims to increase knowledge and learning exposure about technology (ICT) apart from emphasizing the importance of reading among the community.
Children, youths and senior citizens are given the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and self-confidence in digital literacy through computer literacy including the internet, email and social media.
Participants will acquire the skill and ability to read newspapers, minutes of meetings, signboards besides the ability to master and communicate through electronic devices such as iPad, tablets, computers and laptops.
