KOTA KINABALU: Pakatan Harapan (Pakatan) Sabah chairperson Christina Liew believes that a one-on-one fight between Sabah opposition and Barisan Nasional coalition can still happen in the looming 14th general election (14GE).

She said negotiations were still ongoing between the opposition parties in Sabah.

Christina remained tight-lipped and only alluded that negotiations with other state oppositions will commence as negotiations have been completed among parties in Pakatan.

“One sentence to answer that, in due time,” she responded to a press member’s query during a press conference held on Thursday.

Sha said Pakatan Sabah will organize the launch of its second phase Pre-Manifesto – Rural and Economy Development, cum inaugural Christmas Open House at Restaurant Pelancongan Keningau on December 22.

Christina, who is also PKR Sabah chief and Api-Api assemblywoman, saidthat  among the Pakatan national leaders and members of the state expected to come is Mat Sabu.

“Look who will come there. Then you will know,” Christina told the press member when asked whether the fourth Malaysian premier will make an appearance.

“We expect a big crowd because that will include members from the Tenom, Keningau, Tambunan, Bingkor, Nabawan, Pensiangan and Sook parliamentary areas,” she added.

Christina said the final phase of the pre-manifesto launch would be held in Kota Kinabalu after the state legislative assembly was dissolved, and the  PH Sabah Manifesto book would be printed after.
