MIRI: Twenty-five children accompanied by their parents and the staff of Persatuan Ibu Bapa Kanak-Kanak Istimewa (PIBAKIS) centre in Lutong, Miri enjoyed a Christmas getaway treat recently.
The trip was made possible by Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) together with tourism industry partners -Mega Hotel Miri, Miri Crocodile Farm and Brighton Travel and Tours.
STB spokesperson said this corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme in collaboration with tourism industry partners was held to share the festive joy of Christmas with the special children.
The group was taken for a leisure and educational trip to Miri Crocodile Farm cum Mini Zoo in Kuala Baram before having lunch at Mega Hotel.
Also present were representatives from Mega Hotel, Miri Crocodile Farm, Brighton Travel and Tours and PIBAKIS chairman Yeo Kian Leong.
