KOTA KINABALU: Upko Youth chief Carl Mosoom has chided Moyog assemblyman  Terrence Siambun and Penampang member of parliament Darrell Leiking for their failure to bring funds to help the Penampang folks during and after the flooding incidents.

“They are too busy politicking outside of their constituencies while neglecting their own constituency. We have received complaints that they were never around to look after the people in Penampang during and after the flood. It was BN who went down and helped the people,” said Carl.

He also expressed that he was happy members of Upko and all other BN component parties were working hand in hand to recapture Penampang and Moyog from PKR and DAP.

“I hope the people will vote for Barisan Nasional as BN has been proven to be strong and stable as a party to lead and run the State as well as the nation, unlike the opposition. They can’t even form a decent coalition and change coalition in every PRU (general election). They are also busy fighting with each other on many issues which prevents them from making any progress. Their coalition is too fragile to form a stable government and may pose a threat to our harmony, peace and stable nation,” said Carl.
