KUCHING: The Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) Kuching branch will hold its first Home & Property Roadshow for the year on March 16-18 at Boulevard Shopping Mall from 10am to 9pm daily.
Developers wishing to showcase their current and new projects, or other related industry players can now reserve booths.
Organising chairman Dr Richard Tan told a press conference yesterday that 60 per cent of the 30 booths have already been taken up.
“The roadshow is an early opportunity in the Year of the Dog for developers to promote their projects and branding,” he said.
He said the roadshow will be a one-stop venue for consumers and investors seeking the best property deals as well as related products and services.
The last roadshow at the same venue had encouraging sales, especially in the apartment category, which may be an indication of an improved market sentiment here, he said.
According to Tan, there are still many genuine buyers, particularly in the residential market, looking for a home within the affordable price range.
Among those present at the press conference were Sheda Kuching branch chairman Dr Christopher Ngui, secretary George Ting, general manager Tan Teck Kian, as well as committee members Peter Pau, Peter Lau and Alan Wong.
