TM going door-to-door to promote unifi products

KOTA KINABALU: Towards a digital lifestyle vision, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) moved 10,000 TM members all over the country to promote its four main unifi products.

Its state general manager Sukkuriya Masri said the products were unifi Home, unifi Mobile, unifi TV and unifi Wifi.

Currently TM deals were represented under one brand and that was unifi, he said during the flag-off of unifi perfect squad, which comprise 160 TM members, including retailers, who promoted unifi from door-to-door.

Free gifts were also given to the first 100 customers who registered for unifi through the squad, yesterday.

The flag-off was held at Restoran Anak Mami at Manggatal Plaza near here, yesterday.

“Nine major locations around Manggatal Plaza were identified for the promotion of the program on a large scale. They are Taman Permata, Taman Permai and Taman Kemas, Taman Wijaya, Taman Albion, Taman Makmur Ria, Taman Aman Loft, Taman Judy and Taman Juara,” he said.

Sukkuriya said Manggatal was chosen based on its potential and the area was also the first area where unifi was introduced.

“The squad will go down to the potential areas to register new customers and make appointments for installations at their homes.

“All of this is to make unifi the perfect choice for all our customers as well as for all TM family members,” he said.

He also said the program would also be held in Semporna on February 3.

Meanwhile, Sukkuriya  disclosed that about 3,000 customers in Sabah had registered with unifi Mobile within three days of its launching.

Unifi Mobile, which is a re-branding of Webe, offers free sim cards with chosen numbers at the mobile@unifi application which can be downloaded from Google Play Store for Android phone users or Apple Store for iOS phone users .

The free sim cards, which come with 20GB of LTE data, can be picked up at any TM outlets or can be delivered to customers.
