MIRI: Fajar International College’s Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, which has recently achieved the 5-Star excellent rating under the 2016/2017 MyQuest Cluster Based Category-Services rating system, has won the praise of the public and parents.

Many students and parents visited the Fajar International College (FIC) exhibition booth during the first ‘Pesta Penguman Asen Telang Usan’ held in Long Lama last Saturday, Jan 27.

Among them was Penghulu Desmond Yap, who gave the thumbs-up in urging those interested in this field to get qualified through this programme.

This is the only DOSH approved DipOSH in this region and students are eligible to apply for the Green Book to be registered as safety and health officer (SHO) in the future.

The diploma has also secured the accreditation and the official recognition from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, United Kingdom (IOSH-UK).

This confirms that the DipOSH offered by FIC is of international standard whereby the course content has been duly assessed and complied with the global academic requirements on occupational safety and health.

For students wishing to continue their studies to degree level, FIC has advanced standing arrangement with Middlesex University UK, where students can complete their final year in London.

Fajar International College’s new academic session is now open for enrolment.
