KUCHING: Marina Mahathir, daughter of Pakatan Harapan chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, announced that her father is fine after he was admitted to National Heart Institute (IJN) last night.
In a public Facebook post, Marina said in case people are worried, her father is fine but needs some rest.
“Will be back to kick some butts soon.”
She also shared a photo of herself with Dr Mahathir, 92, who was looking cheerful himself.
A media statement issued by the IJN said Dr Mahathir is being treated at the general ward for chest infection following a bout of cough.
He will be warded for few days to allow for treatment and observation.
