KUCHING: Children from the Salvation Army Boys’ and Girls’ Homes were given an early treat by SugarBun and Pezzo East Malaysia in conjunction with the Chinese New Year on Thursday evening.

Eighty-five children from the Boys’ Home and Girls’ Home together with 10 caretakers led by Major Mary Ng dined at its outlet at iCom Square, Jalan Pending.

All of them were treated to SugarBun Combo Meals comprising Fish and Broasted Chicken Rice, Swinger Fries and Pezzo’s Sawadee Chicken Pizza with drinks as well as oranges.

At the function, the management of SugarBun and Pezzo East Malaysia presented the children with ‘angpow’.

They were also entertained by lion dance performances and radio announcers from Hitz, Era and My FM who presented them with special gifts.

SugarBun Supplies and Logistics marketing executive Jason Law thanked the Salvation Army for cooperating with SugarBun and Pezzo East Malaysia to share the joyous occasion with the children.

“We hope our gesture can bring cheer and the joy of sharing to the community,” said Law.
