DALAT: SK Kampung Klid/Plajau and SK St Luke Nanga Baoh in Dalat are still closed due to stagnant flood water, according to its assemblywoman Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah.

The Welfare, Community Well Being, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister noted that the water level at SK Kampung Klid/Plajau had only receded by about an inch since last week.

“As of 1.15pm today (yesterday) the water level only receded by about one inch,” she lamented.

“The sky is still cloudy with rain expected at anytime,” she added.

According to her, the classrooms, hostels, dining hall and teachers’ quarters are inundated by between one-to-two feet of water.

SK Kpg Klid/Plajau has 59 pupils and 21 staffers.
