MIRI: A 42-year-old primary school teacher here lodged a police report on Friday afternoon against a Facebook user for false accusation and posting her picture on the social networking site.
The teacher, in her report said that the Facebook user using the name “Apai Igat Dibit Saban” had accused her for causing the death of a Primary 5 girl in an accident around 11.30am in Permyjaya on Friday. The post also included the teacher’s photo.
The teacher claimed that the accident was not caused by her negligence and that the Facebook post could pose a danger to her. She demanded an apology and the Facebook post to be deleted.
Meanwhile, the Facebook user ‘Apai Igat Dibit Saban’ also lodged a police report on Friday night acknowledging his mistake. He had also posted his apology to the teacher on the social networking site.
