KUCHING: Three prizes worth a total of RM82,000 are offered for hole in-one feats at the 2018 Pusaka Golf competition to be held at Kelab Golf Sarawak (KGS) in Petra Jaya on April 1.
An Auto Perodua Bezza 1300X worth RM47,000, sponsored by Saratim Insurance Agency Service Sdn Bhd, await golfers who manage to get a hole-in-one at Santubong Hole 17 and Demak Hole 17.
This was revealed by Pusaka to reporters after the handover of the tournament trophy by Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation general manager Datu Sarudu Hoklai to KGS golf captain Henry Chou Kuang Hang at a ceremony held at Pusaka Office, Wisma Sumber Alam yesterday.
The other two hole-in-one prizes come in the form of a RM20,000 Rolex watch sponsored by Lonpac insurance Berhad for Matang Hole 3, Siol Hole 6 and Demak Hole 14 and ‘Home Theatre’ worth RM15,000 sponsored by MPI General Insurances Berhad for Santubong Hole 14, Siol Hole 4 and Matang Hole 8.
A total of 250 golfers are expected to join the fray in five categories namely VIP, invited guests, Pusaka and corporate employees, men and women.
Lonpac Insurance Berhad regional manager Wong Shon Kwang, MPI General Insurances Berhad general manager Stephen Yii and Saratim Insurance Agency Services Sdn Bhd general manager Dato Patrick Liew were also present.
