KUCHING: The Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (LPKP) yesterday handed over furniture to four selected schools as part of its National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) initiative.

The four pigeonhole cabinets, 22 office chairs, and one filing cabinet went to SK Semerah Padi, SK Ong Tiang Swee, SK Astana, and SK Madrasah Datuk Haji Abdul Kadir Hassan.

“We hope that these assets will benefit the schools,” said LPKP state director Razami Mohamad Jamali. He explained that the furniture became surpluses following LPKP’s move to a new office in 2015.

“I can assure you that all the assets are in good condition. Maybe there are bits of knocks and dents that can be easily fixed,” he said.

Razami said LPKP publicised the handover of surplus assets from March 6-29 on a first come, first served basis.
