Katis Noel Nyabong
SIBU: Kanowit district officer and Kanowit District Council (KDC) chairman Katis Noel Nyabong passed away this morning in Sibu.
According to KDC councillor Charlie Salang, Katis died at 4am at Sibu Hospital’s emergency room.
He said Katis was rushed to a private hospital here at about midnight before being transferred to Sibu Hospital.
He also said that Katis’ body will be taken to his house in Kemuyang here for funeral rites.
Katis served as Kanowit District Officer KDC chairman since 2013.
