KOTA KINABALU: Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sabah today called on all of its followers to pledge their full support to the party amidst disappointment over the party’s allocated amount of seats for the 14th General Election (GE14).

Its chairman, Stephen Wong, revealed that some of DAP’s supporters may be unhappy as the party was only given ten seats (seven state seats and three parliamentary seats).

In this regard, Stephen advised the supporters to ‘look at the bigger picture’ and to support the electoral pact formed by Pakatan Harapan and Parti Warisan in the name of solidarity.

Stephen, along with DAP advisor Jimmy Wong, DAP Secretary Chan Foong Hin, Wanita Chief Jannie Lasimbang, Tenom Coordinator Noorita Sual, Keningau Chairman Peter Saili, Publicity Secretary Phoong Jin Zhe, Putatan Coordinator Tan Lee Fatt as well as Calvin Chong Ket Kiun and Frankie Poon Ming Fung will be the candidates for DAP Sabah.

DAP had to let go five of their seats, namely, Sook, Tanjung Aru, Karamunting, Sepanggar and Putatan.
