KUCHING: The Sejiwa Senada concert being held in Bekenu today at the Sibuti Rural Transformation Centre will showcase popular artistes like Bob Yusuf AF, Ifa Raziah, Ricky Andrewson, Roziana Urai, Dayangku Fazillah, Redd Suara, Zaki Zaidi and Iwan Dasri.
The State Protocol and Public Relations Unit in a press statement yesterday said concert-goers will be entertained with popular songs during the two-hour show.
The special concert is held in conjunction with the Sejiwa Senada programme that starts this morning until tomorrow (May 2).
The programme, which will be officiated by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg today, is offering two Modenas motorcycles, branded mobile phones and many electrical goods for lucky draw.
A total of 30 stalls have been set up to showcase the various development and services by the government for the people.
There are also 20 food and drinks stalls at the Sarawak Kitchen.
The programme is a one-stop government platform to provide various products, advice and side activities like sports, recreation and Sarawak Kitchen.
It also aims to bring a feel-good factor amongst the people so that they have confidence in the government’s effort to bring development and improve the people’s socio-economy.
The programme also hopes to strengthen cooperation between the government and the people, and to maintain unity, wellbeing and harmony in the state.
