KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Tan Sri Musa Aman calls upon all citizens who are eligible voters to come out and cast their vote as it is their responsibility to chart the course of our beloved nation as it heads towards greater development and progress.
Musa said he is confident that the people of Sabah are wise and mature in making their choice and give the mandate to the right party based on facts and its track record, not based on sentiment or emotion.
“Today we enter the 10th day of the campaigning period, the penultimate day before we cast our vote tomorrow. We have been going down to the ground way before, during and after elections.
“We are not seasonal politicians. Alhamdulillah, during my whirlwind campaign across the state, it can be clearly seen the reception and support we get from the people to the BN was positive and strong,” he stressed.
Musa said that with this momentum, the cooperation and solidarity within the BN based on the commitment and pledges inscribed in the BN Manifesto that is inclusive and realistic, the people will still vote for BN.
“Nevertheless as we head towards the polling day, I humbly urge all not to be complacent with what we have, but instead, we should continue to reach out to all through our machinery more intensively.
“We have shown our maturity our intelligence within us in facing many elections before this. This is a democratic process that should and must be respected by all parties, regardless if the outcome.
“I am confident the Election Commission has made all the necessary preparations and similarly in the aspect of security. I call upon all citizens of this state to come out in full force to execute their responsibility in casting their vote to give the mandate.
