MIRI: Visitors to the International Street Food Fair held in conjunction with the See Hua Consumer Fair 2018 have discovered a wide range of unique options.

Featuring 42 booths, with participants from Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Johor Baharu, dishes on offer include Taiwanese, Mainland Chinese, Thai, and Japanese delicacies.

“We bring our food team to every place, you can come to try our vast array of delectable snacks not normally found elsewhere,” said Fantastic Test group leader Vincent Ho.

The new professional food team of young entrepreneurs specialises mainly in Korean, Thai and Sichuan (China) cuisines.

“We provide a platform for budding young entrepreneurs to start their businesses. Besides, if you want to make your products more famous, you can join us on our Facebook page. Our aim is to train small industry players the ropes of culinary skills and let them grow and be successful one day,” he explained.

Korean cheesy chicken, crispy garlic chicken, Thai pork rice, Japanese cheese pie, and homemade dim sum stick are also available.

Mirian entrepreneur Vinse Ling is leading a group of 14 local vendors, who have travelled to Bintulu, Sibu, and Kuching to promote international dishes.

They offer dishes such as Thai pork skewers and Taiwanese barbecue sausages.

Apart from food, there are also stalls selling fruit smoothies made from fresh fruits with no added sugar or artificial flavouring.

The food fair is located just in front of Boulevard Shopping Mall.
