MIRI: The Kolej Vokasional (KV) Miri are preparing for the national level Secondary Schools Sport Council (MSSM) Football Championship to be held in Pahang from July 12 to 19.
KV Miri are representing Sarawak at the championship, and head coach Mohamad Hakimi Man is focusing on the players’ fitness level to keep them in tiptop condition for the national-level meet.
Hakimi also demanded total commitment and passion from the team.
With proper planning and training, the coach believed that the team would make it to the final.
“KV Miri are now undergoing fitness training after emerging as overall champions in the MSSM Football Championship Under 18 during the Carnival Vocational and Technic (Karvotek) Sarawak Zone recently,” Hakimi told theborneopost yesterday.
“The players were selected based on their good performance and skill,” he added.
He also noted that training would continue as usual during the fasting month.
