KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal is expected to name the state cabinet line-up in the next two days.
Shafie said he would seek an audience with Head-of-State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin before making the announcement.
“A little more time, I too need the consent from Tuan Yang Terutama (Head of State). By God’s will, it would not take a long time…give me one or two days,” he said.
He said this when met at the 5th Sabah FCAS International Dragon Boat Race at Tanjung Lipat near here yesterday.
Shafie also refused to give an inch of what to expect from his cabinet line-up.
“If I give some hints then there would be no element of surprises,” he said with a smile.
The Parti Warisan Sabah president, however, assured that the cabinet line-up will include its partners from Pakatan Harapan here namely Parti Kedilan Rakyat and Democratic Action Party (DAP) in forming the state government.
