KUALA LUMPUR: The operational hours of all Inland Revenue Board (IRB) service counters will be shortened by 30 minutes throughout Ramadan.
The IRB in a statement yesterday said that the change of operational hours, however, would not involve the IRB counters at the Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs) as these come under the purview of the Finance Ministry.
For all IRB branches except for Sabah and Labuan, the operational hours are from 8am to 4.30pm (Monday to Friday). For Sabah and Labuan, the operational hours are from 7.30am to 4pm (Monday to Friday).
In Johor, Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan, the operating hours are from 8pm to 4.30pm (Sunday to Wednesday) and from 8am to 3pm (Thursday).
