KUCHING: The Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS) 9-a-side open and 11 a-side veteran football tournament for the Piala Datuk Bandar will be held from July 27 to 29.
Teams may register for the annual event which is held as part of this year’s Kuching Festival 2018.
Tournament chairman Iskandar Sharkawi said there is a limit of 20 teams this year, 10 each per category.
Each match will be played over 10 minutes per half at Jubilee Ground, Jalan Padungan here.
The champion will stand to win the cash prize of RM2,000. The runner-up and losing semi-finalists will receive RM1,000 and RM500 respectively.
Registration fee is RM350 and the deadline to submit entries is on July 24.
